You are the type of person that likes quiet, serene spaces. You are not looking for loud music, big spaces, and lots of heavy exercise.
And above all, you are feeling stressed. You are feeling a tightness in your shoulders and your back and you have a tendency towards headaches and backaches.
I know how you feel. And I have just the program for you!
I created the Beginner Yoga Series to help de-mystify yoga and help people start feeling better. To reach out to everyone that wants to learn yoga, but has been intimidated by the fancy yoga poses and big classes.
In this course, you will learn:
- Basic yogic breathing
- How to sit and stand with alignment to create better posture, greater stability and ease of movement (Asana)
- Basic Standing Poses
- Basic Seated Forward Bends, Hip Openers and Twists
- How to use props to create greater stability and openness
- Learn step-by-step, the process of Surya Namaskar (The Sun Salutation)
- Relaxation techniques to quiet your mind and soothe your nervous system
In just 6 short weeks, you will walk away with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of yoga poses, breathing techniques, and proper alignment.
This is a small, group yoga class with a maximum of six students per session. This ensures that each participant will receive hands on instruction in each session. My goal is to help you learn
